Okay: It’s not a flower today, but I still love the sharp contrasts of color in this one. And given that this was actually shot at night, it turned out surprisingly bright. I expected some reflection off the snow and ice, but this was … intense. Anyone else ever have a picture turn out in a way they hadn’t quite expected?
