I’m enjoying the sun–and the flowers–today while it lasts; the weather is expected to turn again here tonight, and we’re looking at a weekend full of rain. On the upside, however, my irises seem to have escaped unscathed (for now), and tomorrow the winners will be announced for the first of several competitions I’ve been pouring my energy into this year. At least some of what I’m feeling is nervous energy, no doubt: a jumble brought on by my current inability to do anything other than focus on my submissions since I can’t leave home. Fingers crossed.
